Whimsy is a stylized and playfully constructed feature-length documentary about the life and work of one of Seattle’s most loved, mercurial playwrights, Scot Augustson. With magical realism and unconventional storytelling, Whimsy draws the viewer into Scot’s imaginative world, where they discover that his curious characters and theatrical creations parallel his own self-doubt, regret and mirthfully flawed world.
